Following the previews published by the media who were invited to discover Park Beyond at Europa Park last week (we were there), Bandai Namco Entertainment also posted a long video of more than 7 minutes, in which the developers of Limbic Entertainment speak. They tell how the idea of making a roller coaster simulator was born, and especially how it revolves around its gameplay. The first thing that is also explained by Johannes Reithmann, the Creative Director, is the concept of impossification. It is actually a feature that can enhance anything and everything in the game, from a carousel to a staff employee, through a business or even a decorative element. The goal is to make the game crazier, more fun and visually more impressive. We also learn that impossification was only available on attractions at the start of development, then the concept caught on and was applied to the entire game. The sound part is also explained in this video, at through the words of Luisa Pätzold who tells how important hearing the sound of the rides, of the laughing crowd is for immersion. If you ever want to know more, know that we have a preview available in our columns, and that a big video report is also coming.
