Pentiment: Obsidian announces its new narrative game, it takes place in the XNUMXth century
We must believe that being already at work on Avowed, The Outer Worlds 2 and the final version of Grounded is not enough for him. Indeed, as part of the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Obsidian Entertainment announced Pentiment. Qualified as a narrative adventure game, it will immerse us in 25th century Germany and ask us to play "Andreas Maler, an itinerant artist working in the former scriptorium of Kiersau Abbey during a time of great social unrest. As he completes his masterpiece, Andreas finds himself unwittingly embroiled in a XNUMX-year murder spree. To shed light on this case, he will have to investigate by questioning peasants, thieves, craftsmen, monks, nuns, nobles and even saints.

"It will be up to you to make Andreas's decisions, you can determine his level of education like his lifestyle, or choose how he will conduct the investigation, it is underlined in the official press release. He will very well be able to unearth a monk's body in the abbey cemetery or eavesdropping on ladies' conversations to hear new rumors. Every decision, every accusation will have consequences that will impact the rest of the community, for generations."

Expected for the month of November on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC, and included in the Xbox Game Pass, Pentiment will obviously have the opportunity to reveal itself a little more by then.
