Revealed last June during the Day of the Devs then as part of the Future Games Show 2022, Planet of Lana is making a comeback in this particularly busy month of October with a big video. No less than 19 minutes of gameplay offered by the developers (creative director Adam Stjarnljus and co-director and screenwriter Klas Eriksson), who are also present to comment on what is happening on the screen. The opportunity to get to know Lana better, a young girl who wakes up in a forest, where a creature named Mui is trying somehow to wake him up. The story takes place on the planet Novo and will tell us about the adventures of this Lana, who will rescue her sister after the latter has been kidnapped by an army of robots. With its neat and shimmering graphics, its elaborate animations, Planet of Lana immediately gives off a special atmosphere.
In this video, we learn that the game will not be subtitled, since the people speak an unknown language and the idea is to stay lost, while trying to understand what is being said just by the intonation of the voices. As for Mui, this little beast that tracks Lana, she will be able to support her in certain actions, knowing that the young girl can give her orders. The game will also be full of many puzzles that have been developed around Lana's abilities. There will therefore be an interaction between the two characters, before they can progress together and avoid enemy attacks. For now, the robots have not yet been revealed in detail, but one thing is certain, Planet of Lana will offer magnificent scenery, where you can see the wind moving the branches and foliage. Graphics that have also been painted by hand by the Wishfully Studios teams.
The release of Planet of Lana is expected for the spring of 2023 on PC, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
