We take this opportunity to remember that the new PlayStation Plus will be launched on June 22 in Spain on both PS4 and PS5. We will be the last to welcome it since the service will land in Asia (outside Japan) on May 23, in Japan on June 1, and in the United States on June 13. Below is a summary of the three formulas that the Japanese manufacturer will offer.
PLAYSTATION PLUS ESSENTIALS
Advantage:
Provides benefits PlayStation Plus subscribers already have:

- Exclusive discounts
- Cloud storage for game saves
- Access to online multiplayer

Price for Spain (same as current PlayStation Plus):

PLAYSTATION PLUS EXTRAS
Advantage:
- Provides all the benefits of the Essential tier
- Also features a catalog of around 400 of the best PS4 and PS5 games, including hits from our PlayStation Studios catalog and our third-party partners. Extra tier games can be downloaded for offline access.
Prices for Spain:
€13,99 per month / €39,99 per quarter / 99,99 € per year
PLAYSTATION PLUS PREMIUM
Advantage:
- Provides all benefits of Essential and Extra Tiers
- Limited-time trial versions of certain games will also be offered at this tier, allowing players to test them before purchasing them.
- Offers approximately 340 additional games, including:
° PS3 games available via cloud streaming
° A catalog of great classics, available for streaming or download among PlayStation, PS2 and PSP games
° Cloud streaming access to PlayStation, PS2, PSP and PS4 Extra and Premium tier games. Players can stream to PS4 and PS5 consoles, as well as PC

€16,99 per month / €49,99 per quarter / 119,99 € per year
- Examples of games included in the Extra and Premium services, upon release: Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11 and Returnal. Note that PlayStation Now subscribers will automatically transition to a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription, at no additional cost. Another important detail: the deployment of the new PlayStation Plus will be done in waves, first Asia, then North America, then Europe and finally the other countries where PlayStation Plus is available.
