In the wake of the new gameplay trailer devoted to Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Scarlet where we discovered the new automated combat system, Nintendo also revealed that a collector's console in the colors of the two games was coming. It will go on sale several weeks before the game's release, on November 4 (against November 18), which will allow buyers to unbox before others. Why such a late date in relation to the games? Quite simply because no physical game will be provided in the bundle; a well-known practice of Nintendo who prefers to deliver a code to download, forcing real collectors to have to buy the game in addition and therefore pay a little more of their money. Commercially, it's genius. For the players, there is something depressing. Still, this Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Scarlet collector's console uses the same principle of previous Nintendo Switch which sports the colors of a particular game. Joycons with colors specific to the game in question, a screen-printed dock and a few silhouettes and logos to dress it all up. We are obviously far from the sought-after work of a Microsoft when it releases an Xbox collector, but Nintendo's family audience will be fully satisfied with it.
