While PS5 owners will certainly be delighted to hear that Sony Interactive Entertainment has rolled out a brand new update, there's no reason to get excited. Indeed, the Japanese manufacturer indicates that the update only improves system performance. Quite the opposite of the previous update which introduced 1440p video output via HDMI, game lists, the ability to request Screen Sharing from a Party member, simplified profile display new friends and receiving notifications to join a friend's game faster from the Party chat.
First offered in beta version at the end of July to a limited number of users, it was officially launched on September 7th.
