PS5: it's 20 million consoles sold worldwide, Sony is calm

20 million is the number of PS5s sold to date, 18 months after entering the market. The number is certainly impressive, but it could have been higher if the COVID and the shortage of components had not happened. For comparison, the PS5 is even behind the PS4 which had exceeded 20 million in March 2015. Sales of the PS5 have also been in decline for several months, the fault always of these restocking problems which does not allow the machine to perform as it should, given this high demand. If Sony is pleased with these scores, it reminds the public who have not yet managed to recover the machine that an increase in production has been launched. It's true that with all the new games that were announced during the State of Play, it would be a shame to miss out.
