PS5: Sony about to buy Kojima Productions? The big rumor of the day

In recent months, the video game industry has lived to the rhythm of takeovers, the most resounding being of course that of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft against a check for 69 billion dollars. Sony Interactive Entertainment couldn't sit idly by and responded by getting their hands on Bungie (Halo's historic studio which is also behind Destiny) and Haven Studio (Jade Raymond's studio which is best known for working on Assassin's Creed ). We are not going to lie to each other, these operations are less flashy than that carried out by Microsoft, but the Japanese manufacturer has warned that other takeovers were to be expected by the voice of its president, Jim Ryan.

As a result, many are betting on the studios that Sony Interactive Entertainment could afford, and it is certainly not the new PlayStation Studios banner that will calm speculation. He points out that Demon's Souls is also making an appearance, but it was already known that Bluepoint Games was now owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment.




So, should we see a future takeover of Kojima Productions? Nothing is less certain, especially since we still remember the rumors that Hideo Kojima was preparing a game exclusive to Microsoft. And as for the banner, the Ludens statuette present in the office of Phil Spencer (the boss of the Xbox division) was heavy with meaning according to some. In short, all that to say that we can see clues everywhere, and that the new banner of PlayStation Studios may not hide anything at all even if we know the strong link that exists between Hideo Kojima and Sony.
