Among the point & click that have modernized the genre, there is the Sam & Max series, rather well represented by the episodes "Save the World" and "Beyond Time and Space", which are actually Season 1 and Season 2 that the Telltale Games studio produced between 2006 and 2007. If the games had the opportunity to be ported to Xbox 360 and Wii, the PlayStation consoles never had the chance to welcome this detective duo. Certainly, Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space had managed to make its way onto PS3, but that was not the case with Save the Word. Things will be fixed in 2022 since the two episodes will be released on PS4 and PS5 in a remastered version on September 29. It is Skunkape Games, a collective of independent developers who made the project possible, and invites us to discover the result through a first video. The opportunity to see that the graphics have been retouched, but not too much anyway, that the lighting is now dynamic, that the lip synchronization has been improved, that the sound has been remastered and other technical additions.
