Silent Hill: historical developers involved in the return of the series? The fans are on the move
Without warning, Konami split a tweet last night to formalize the great return of Silent Hill which has been the subject of incessant rumors for several months. Scheduled for Wednesday, October 19 at 23 p.m. (two days from now), the event should probably lift the veil on various games currently in development, as French director Christophe Gans told us a preview of it now some months. According to the latest rumors, Bloober Team (Blair Witch, The Medium) would have been asked for a remake of Silent Hill 2, while Annapurna Interactive would be at work on an episodic Silent Hill.

Obviously, the first hour fans wonder if the historical developers of the franchise will resume service. Except surprise, the composer Akira Yamaoka should indeed be part of the adventure, especially since he shared the news on Instagram. We remind you that it is to him that we owe the soundtrack of The Medium. The same goes for art director Masahiro Ito – who is behind the creatures seen in the first three Silent Hill: he retweeted the ad, suggesting he too could be involved. Since the rumors also point to a brand new episode in the making in Japan, needless to say that the community is boiling. We will soon be fixed.
