Resurrected in early July to everyone's surprise, Skull and Bones is preparing to arrive on PC and consoles on November 8. Ubisoft is taking advantage of gamescom 2022 to give some details on the PC version of the game, the famous superior edition. Inevitably, with all the technical details pushed to the limit, we will be able to enjoy native 4K, HDR, unlimited framerate, ray tracing, the use of DLSS and FSR, and finally reduced latency in particular during naval battles. So many options that justify having waited so long to see the game released. Ubisoft has also made a big video to highlight these PC features, with big font that appears in the middle of the screen, dynamic editing and epic music. It clearly inspires.
- 4K resolution and HDR compatibility allowing you to be fully immersed in the gaming experience.
- An unlocked refresh rate allowing you to enjoy maximum fluidity and minimum latency, especially during naval battles.
- Image scaling providing higher quality images and detailed gameplay thanks to ray tracing, DLSS and FSR.
- Extensive customization of the settings allowing to modify the options in the advanced input parameters in order to offer the best possible gaming experience.
- Tools for players: In order to provide a balanced experience, players will be split into different servers based on their Infamy level and PvP preferences. They will also be able to report or block other players for misbehavior in-game.
- Game servers: Physical servers and high-performance cloud servers will complement each other during high activity peaks in order to optimize and reduce the waiting time for players wishing to connect to the game. Ubisoft's physical servers are located in North America and South, Europe, Asia, South Africa and Oceania.
- Anti-cheat systems: The battlEye anti-cheat system will analyze the game in real time and permanently ban players on the first offense or when cheating to gain an unfair advantage has been detected.
Skull and Bones is committed to bringing high quality graphics and settings to the PC gaming community. The full list of technical details will be unveiled at Gamescom, starting on August 24.
