The posting 24 hours earlier of a Japanese Sonic Frontiers advertisement allowed us to know ahead of the game's release date, November 8, 2022. Date which was validated by SEGA after the Story Trailer was released for the Opening Night Live of gamescom 2022. This way, no cookie to give to critics of the game who find that the open world is not suitable for a game such as Sonic, the fault of empty open world and lifeless, and gameplay that promises to be limited, in short, not enough to reassure the assembly. But SEGA has proclaimed it loud and clear on several occasions, Sonic Frontiers will not be postponed to please the discussion forums on the Net, worried about the final result.
