After years of intensive work within the Spiders studio, Steelrising is finally available this Thursday, September 8, 2022. The first French Souls-like, this title is ambitious in more ways than one, if only for its lore and this want to make the French Revolution a very interesting starting point. In this uchronic atmosphere where King Louis XVI has formed an army of robots to fight the rumble of his people, Steelring takes up neither more nor less than the codes of the Dark Souls type games, imposed by the Japanese studio FromSoftware. The game also unrolls its score rather well, before giving in to finishing concerns, bugs (sometimes very problematic) and the rather inexplicable absence of VF (a French game, developed in Spain, with a French story, but devoid of French voices).
