Overview too briefly in Microsoft's extended showcase a few days ago, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (or Texas Chainsaw Massacre in VF) makes us happy to return in a slightly more consistent gameplay trailer. In the same vein of games such as Dead by Daylight, Friday the 13th and other slightly gory fun things, it's a multiplayer game with asymmetrical gameplay where the serial killer and a group of young teenagers who have to run and hide for their lives. As usual, the playing field boils down to semi-open arenas so that the hide-and-seek game is sufficiently engaging not to be massacred from the first minutes of play. The press release tells us, however, that it's not Illfonic who is in charge of the game, but the Angles of Sumo Nottingham, who are known for having made the racing games Team Sonic Racing a few years ago. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is expected to release in 2023 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.
