The future is now and the future is 8K. While 8K content hasn't hit us yet, 8K smart TVs are starting to roll off the shelves with people gearing up for the future. If you haven't seen an 8K TV yet, go to your local Best Buy and check one out, it's definitely worth it. The ordinary person may not be able to tell the difference immediately, but the clarity and smoothness of the images are simply something to behold and admire.
In the gaming space, 8K TVs are overkill given that most consoles run up to 120fps and most 4K TVs now match that. For those who think the bigger the screen, the better the visuals, 8K is for you. Along with the larger screens, some of the best upcoming features we've seen in TV tech, including improved OLED screens that deliver sharper visuals than we thought, and infinite HDR support with Dolby. Vision and even Nvidia G-Sync technologies.
But be warned: 8K TVs aren't cheap at all, ranging from $3 to $000. For those with the cash to burn, who want to be future-proof now, here are some of the best 30K TVs to get you a step further into the future.

Samsung QN900A NEO QLED
Samsung's QN900A might be the best 8K TV on the market right now and there's not even 8K content ready for it yet. But when 8K content starts to arrive, the QN900A will prepare you for visuals you never imagined you could achieve.
The QN900A is available in three sizes, a 65-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch model, and delivers incredible image quality and contrast thanks to its mini "Quantum" LED that is 1/40th the thickness of a normal LED. In normal terms, it features smaller LEDs that translate to the size of an LED pixel allowing for incredibly detailed colors and black levels. Elsewhere, the QN900A offers 8K resolution with huge upscaling of 1080p and 4K content thanks to Samsung's AI-based "Neo Quantum 8K Processor". When it comes to gaming on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, you'll realize the true graphical power of next-gen gaming. The only downfall with the QN900A is also in its screen. Although the visuals are stunning, the screen reflects easily, so make sure it's not facing any windows as it will reflect light back towards you, almost blocking you from its visual gift.
An extremely high-end TV like this doesn't come cheap, with the base 65-inch model of the QN900A starting at around $5. But for the money, you're not only preparing for the future, but enhancing the visuals you see now.
sony z8h
Sony's entry into the 8K scene is interesting. Their first 8K TVBs, the Z9G and ZG9, hit the stage for $13. Their second and final entry, the Z000H and ZH8 build on the strengths of their 8K starters while dropping the entry price by more than 8%, starting at $50.
The ZH8 and Z8H models are available in 75 and 85 inches and their class-leading performance matches its class-leading styling. Its 8K resolution shines with its 2 nits of brightness and HDR and Dolby Vision sound to keep everything crisp. Audio-wise, the Z500H/ZH8 models may be some of the best TVs we've ever heard with an integrated system. Sony's new 8K TVs have a few minor flaws, though. The included Android TV can be a little frustrating to manage and there's only one HDMI 8 port for 2.1K and above content, which seems a bit frugal for an 4K TV that's supposed to focus on 8K and above content . The upscaling of 4p and 1080K leaves a bit to be desired compared to Samsung, although the enhanced visuals still look good regardless.

TCL 6″ Series 75 QLED Mini-LED Roku Smart TV
TCL TVs somehow manage to keep up with the world's Samsung and Sony TVs and do so at about a fraction of the price. But 8K TVs had to cost a bit more, right? Nope. The TCL 6 series is perhaps their best range of TVs and the fact that they come at a relatively accessible starting price makes them even better.
The Series 6 8K is probably the cheapest 8K TV on the market today, tomorrow, maybe ever, slashing their upfront cost to Samsung and Sony by 50%, to just over $2. Despite similar performance to Samsung and Sony, this lower cost comes with its own set of caveats. Visually, there are only two HDMI 000 ports (which is actually an upgrade from the Sony Z2.1H), and it doesn't pass 8p or 1080K either and its motion processing leaves a bit to be desired. Audio-wise, it's average at best with some sound balancing issues that it must have ironed out down the road.
LG Classe 99 Series QNED Mini-LED 8K UHD Smart webOS TV
The LG QNED989 stands out so much that it has its own Nanocell-branded LEDs to enhance its visuals and it doesn't disappoint at all. Aside from the visuals, it's the display technology features the QNED brings that really make it stand out.
The QNED99 features 30 tiny LEDs (Nanocell), which is exponentially more than most OLEDs on the market today. Tiny LEDs allow for brighter, much more detailed images with vivid colors that pop in ways we've never really seen before. Its a000 GEN 9 AI processor does a terrific job of upscaling the current 4p and 1080K resolution to 4K, making today's visuals look as close to 8K before they even hit 8K. It also has native 8Hz through four HDMI 120 ports, making it perfect for next-gen gaming and likely the generation after the PS2.1 and Xbox Series X/S. The QNED also has a filmmaker mode allowing you to see movies as the director intended and smart assistants Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for voice commands.
LG ZX 8K OLED

Its AI can convert 2K and 4K footage to 8K in a way even QNED can't. It features over 100 million self-illuminating sub-pixels for the most immersive visuals ever, giving you images that will make you never go back to normal 2K and 4K images again. When it comes to gaming, the ZX supports both HDR and NVidia G-Sync with a response time of just 1ms, giving you the fastest, clearest visuals we've ever seen in gaming. . The ZX is literally the sugar daddy for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

If you're feeling fit and still have $77 to spare, the 10-inch behemoth starts at $000.
