The Dark Pictures anthology will open a new chapter next month with the release of The Devil in Me, the fourth and final episode of Season 1, as announced by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Like the previous episodes, the game called on many actors to bring the characters to life and it is actress Jessie Buckley who stands out by far, since she was nominated for an Oscar in 2022 for her supporting role in The Lost Daughter, by Maggie Gyllenhal. Originally from Ireland, Jessie Buckley may not yet be very popular in Spain, but she has talent to spare and experience to share. In an interview divided into two parts, she evokes this new challenge of playing via performance capture, something she had never done until now. She also explains that she has never touched a video game in her life, despite her young age of 32. However, she evokes a pleasant, new experience, where she was also able to carry out several death scenes, since as everyone knows, the games of Supermassives Games offer a whole bunch of storyline branches, good and bad. In The Devil in Me, she embodies the character of Kate Wilder who will find herself stuck in a Castle of Murders, in the company of her ex-boyfriend.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is scheduled for release on November 18, 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and on Steam.
