Announced 3 years ago, revealed late and still a bit mysterious, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum finally releases its release date in a tweet that no one was expecting. The game developed by Daedalic Entertainment will arrive on September 1, 2022, both on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One, while the Switch version will have to wait several more months for the port to be done correctly (and yes, c I'm tired of porting cross-media games to this machine, word of the dev). On the gameplay side, it's still very vague, since the game hasn't shown anything of its mechanics yet, and we just know that Gollum will have to infiltrate more than fight in this experience which will allow us to relive the moments- Lord of the Rings keys. It is hoped that the game will allow us to approach the split personality of Gollum/Smeagol for more interest and depth. In the meantime, we have the right to a new poster.
