Alongside the Matrix Resurrections release in theaters on December 22, 2021, Epic Games rolled out The Matrix Awakens, a tech demo aimed at showcasing the capabilities of the Unreal Engine 5 on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. This appetizer, written and produced by Lana Wachowski in person, and featuring Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity) and Keanu Reeves (Neo), naturally marked the spirits with its graphics of a quality and realism to Breathtaking. This is also the main interest of this appetizer, because in terms of gameplay, it is quite simply a rail shooter which, subsequently, turns into an open-world where the you can walk around - especially by car - and even fly.
In short, all that to say that on the site of The Matrix Awakens, it is indicated that the demo will be withdrawn from circulation on July 9th. From what we are told, those who already have the trial version on their console have nothing to worry about. On the other hand, players who have not yet had the opportunity to try the demo, or who have tried it but then uninstalled it, must absolutely (re)download it before the fateful date. You can't say you didn't know that.
