Thor Love & Thunder: the 1st teaser reveals the images of Nathalie Portman in "Lady Thor"

It was in the middle of Easter Monday that Marvel Studios decided to release the first Thor Love & Thunder teaser that the world was impatiently waiting for. It must be said that with a release set for next July, the late communication was beginning to worry fans and film experts. But like the big boss that he is, Kevin Feige has found the best timing to get noticed, since the news is rather calm today. Result, we only talk about him, about this first teaser of the 4th episode of Thor which will allow Taika Waititi to confirm his talent and his genius as a director / screenwriter with an episode which seems to be in the same vein as Thor Ragnarok. The trailer, which kicks off with Guns N' Roses' Sweet Child O' Mine, confirms events take place after the Thanos fight, with Thor seemingly at peace with himself, following his depression in Avengers. Endgame which had earned him a lot of pounds by stuffing himself with beers and staying cloistered at home playing video games. This time, he will take himself in hand, resume the sport and once again become the god of thunder that everyone once worshiped.


On his road to reconquest of himself, he will meet his friends the Guardians of the Galaxy with whom he seems to have forged great bonds of friendship. We also see Thor moving with a boat pulled by goats and which refers to Norse mythology where the god of thunder moved with a chariot drawn by Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr. Thanks to this new means of transport and to Stormbreaker with which he can call on the Bifrost, this Thor Love & Thunder is clearly a call to travel, with different countries that we will be able to visit. It is also an opportunity to see that Thor will meet Zeus, who will be played on screen by Russel Crowe and who also seems to like arena clashes.



And finally, impossible not to mention the presence of Nathalie Portman who is making her big comeback in the saga, in the guise of a Jane Foster boosted with amphetamines since she will be The Mighty Thor, the female version of the character. Better, we see her recover Mjöllnir which was recomposed after Hela destroyed it in the 2017 episode. Clearly, this first teaser puts us in the mood and announces an incredible film.
