It's been almost two years since the PS5 was released. Certainly in a difficult context, linked to a pandemic which has slowed down all industries and preventing certain manufacturers such as Sony Interactive Entertainment from embarking on the manufacture of limited edition machines. Unlike the PS4 generation, which chained consoles in the colors of a particular game, the PS5 is still empty-handed of a version other than the standard white version. Faced with the shortage of components, the Japanese manufacturer favors demand, which continues to be high. Also, to try to personalize your home console, so that it doesn't look like your neighbour's, there is a solution: faceplates. Commonly called facades in our French language, these are colored shells, allowing to give a little more life to the PS5. At the beginning of the year, around February, Sony Interactive Entertainment had marketed the faceplates Midnight Black and Cosmic Red, in the wake of the controllers of the same color. But for a few weeks, towards the end of June, three new colors have been put on the market, they are Starlight Blue, Nova Pink and Cosmic Purple. Now that we have the full set of these color fronts, it's time to do a complete unboxing and try each of these colors. We even had fun matching the colors. Here is the result in 4K format.
