Dead by Daylight has had a lunar event every year since 2018. It lasts two weeks and takes place at the start of the year, which is Chinese New Year in real life, so we can use that as a way to measure it.
It usually takes place around the Chinese New Year, which is scheduled for February 1 this year, so we can expect it to take place at the beginning of the month. As of this writing, Behavior Interactive hasn't announced an official 2022 release date. It's always started in January or February every year, so we can be sure it's coming soon.

To illustrate this point, here is the calendar of previous years.
An | Chinese year (Animal) | Name | Started | Fini |
2018 | Dog | Howling Land | 15 February | 1er Mars |
2019 | Pork | moonrise | 30 janvier | 13 February |
2020 | Steering | Scarlet Swarm | 21 janvier | 4 February |
2021 | Bœuf | golden rush | 11 February | March 4 |
As it's towards the end of January, announcing the lunar event so early wouldn't be much of a warning, so it will most likely happen in February. At this time we can only speculate, but we will update this post as soon as possible. as we hear something from Dead by Daylight's Twitter, which usually keeps us all informed.
