Rockstar Games' launcher has been down for over 18 hours and has left players stranded without access to their game library. Whether it's GTA V, the GTA Trilogy - Definitive Edition, or Red Dead Redemption 2, people can't currently play any of Rockstar's listings on PC.
The exact reason for the launcher's shutdown is unconfirmed. At the time of this writing, Rockstar only stipulated that it was due to maintenance issues. It is unclear whether this was planned maintenance gone wrong or a down due to server errors.
Rockstar Games Launcher services and supported titles are temporarily offline for maintenance. Services will return as soon as the maintenance is complete.

With the re-release of the GTA Trilogy, it's possible that the servers crashed, making the launcher broken. It's an unfortunate time for people who bought the trilogy on PC, as they haven't been able to play it since its release.
For now, since November 12, the game has been temporarily pulled from the market so that people can't buy something that they won't be able to play momentarily.
Fans and gamers are asking for Rockstar titles to return to Steam. The Rockstar Launcher seems to have been a problem on more than one occasion, and people are missing out when a third-party system was handling their game downloads and launches.
