The most convenient singular way to farm Gald in Tales of Arise is to mine, mine, and mine some more. There's no better way to get Gald when you need it than to suck it up and hit a pile of rocks.

Alternatively, if you don't want to spend your life spinning around hitting blue crystals, fishing can net you a pretty penny.

The pretty rocks are worth a lot

Mining can sometimes give you certain products instead of the accessory materials you usually want. These products are pieces of iron, pieces of copper, pieces of silver, pieces of gold and pieces of platinum. Your ability to obtain the rarest pieces depends on your story progress.

The most notable of these are the last two, the gold and platinum pieces. Gold chunks are worth 3 Gald apiece, while platinum chunks are worth even more at 000 Gald each. These items only exist to sell with no other uses, so that's another plus; you won't run out of these later after you sell them.

You can sell any materials you get that you might not want for some extra Gald on top of your products.

Mining points take time in-game to respawn, so we recommend clearing a handful of looping areas. Gilanne Woodlands, Iglia Wastes, Lavtu Marshlands, Razum Quarry, Shinefall Woods, and Traslida Highway are all areas we have found good for mining sites, but other areas may seem better or faster to you.

Fish that are not tasty sell well

Fish take a little longer to get than rocks, but if you need a break from endless mining, that's not bad. Even cheap fish can sell for up to 500-600 Gald and more expensive fish can sell for several times as much.

However, be careful about the fish you choose to breed. Some fish are cooking ingredients and sell for rock bottom prices. These are rare, but keep an eye out for when a fish you bring in is considered an ingredient and not a commodity.
