Is Cyberpunk 2077's disastrous launch now forgiven? After two years of repairing their game with lots of patches and updates, the CD Projek Red studio is proud to announce that 20 million sales have been exceeded. The renewed interest around Cyberpunk 2077 has also been very real since last April, since the Polish developers claimed 18 million games sold on that date. It must be said that everything is accelerating since the announcement of the Phantom Liberty expansion and the posting of the Edgerunners series on Netflix, which allows the game to find beautiful colors, and no doubt to please another audience, not necessarily aware of the bad buzz that accompanied its launch in December 2020. In any case, within CD Projekt Red, this success allows some to regain some morale after two complicated years.
Over 20 million cyberpunks have been roaming the streets of Night City – partying with Jackie and getting to know Johnny, driving around with Panam and diving with Judy, hanging out with River and listening to Kerry's songs.
Thank you and we hope to see you all in the Afterlife! pic.twitter.com/ifFLhg6npO
