Forza Horizon 5: the 1st major DLC dedicated to Hot Wheels finally announced, a 4K trailer that traces its route
As rumors had indicated in recent months, Playground Games took advantage of the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase to unveil the first major DLC for Forza Horizon 5. The latter will be dedicated to Hot Wheels, including 80 track pieces and a dozen never-before-seen cars, including the 5 Hennessey Venom F2021 and the 2000 Hot Wheels Deora II. "Horizon Hot Wheels Park is where you'll experience some of the fastest and most extreme tracks in the Forza Horizon series , which includes more than 200km of this famous orange track, with its improbable turns and loops, we are told. Explore an open Hot Wheels world to enjoy new driving experiences, such as gravity-defying magnetic tracks, ice, canals or rumble tracks.

We've also added four new biomes: the Canyon of the Giants, the Cauldron of Ice where the tundra melts in contact with molten lava, the Falls of the Forest which takes you above the canopy and its waterfalls impressive and finally, the incredible Nexus Horizon, where the Festival Horizon is suspended in the middle of intertwining Hot Wheels tracks.

Obviously, there will be plenty to do in this expansion. “You will be able to complete missions to unlock special events and celebrate Hot Wheels history in a new five-part Horizon campaign, details the official press release. During your journey, you will be able to look for new accolades, bonus panels, Pinatas collectables, stunts, and other seasonal Hot Wheels events that will help boost your game completion percentage. You can also compete against the rest of the world or team up with Drivatars. Fast travel is also available immediately for everyone at Horizon Hot Wheels Park, so you can find your friends, wherever they are. on the map."

In addition, it is specified that it will be necessary to have completed the first 15 minutes of Forza Horizon 5 – which should not be complicated for laymen – before unlocking the Horizon Hot Wheels Park. Finally, the expansion - which will be released on July 19 - is included in the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Expansion Bundle, the Premium Edition of the game, and in the Expansion Bundle.
