While the fifth episode of Miss Marvel has just been put online today on Disney +, revealing a little more about the issues that will push Kamala Khan to surpass herself, some are already starting to make some small assessments. To date, Miss Marvel has posted a nice 96% from the press, while the opinion of viewers has risen to 81%. The ratio between journalists and the general public is therefore not far off and proves that the original approach was able to please. Between an original artistic direction, a neat staging and a plot that does not drag, Miss Marvel amazes and surprises, while the hype around the series is clearly at its lowest.
Indeed, between a lower popularity than the other superheroes of the MCU, the fact that it is a teenager with a strong implication of the Muslim religion and the Pakistani culture, the themes are indeed perhaps- be less universal in the world of masked and pantyhose heroes. This is probably the reason why Miss Marvel is the least watched series on Disney+. Indeed, only 775 American households watched the first episode of Miss Marvel in the 000 days following its release. A figure lower than other series such as Loki which holds the record with 5 million American households, or even Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Moon Knight which attracted 2.5 million households each, while it is 1,8 million American households for WandaVision.
