The release date of NBA 2K23 is approaching by leaps and bounds, and 2K Games continues to expose its game to promote it. A few days after presenting the "MyTeam" mode to us with its main strengths, a video presentation around the "MyCareer" mode was published on the 2K Games YouTube channel. The publisher assures us that this will be the largest and most involved storyline in the history of the franchise, knowing that elements of the previous Story mode have been set aside, since the high school and college years have been deleted, which is not a bad thing. We will therefore start right after the NBA Draft, which will allow the player to focus on the performance of his avatar on the field. This will not prevent having to manage the career off the pitch through many activities such as music, fashion and business. In order to bring a little more consistency, and especially notoriety to the game, 2K Games has called on rapper J. Cole who will be present in the "MyCareer" mode as a hip-hop artist. The latter will even be entitled to a version of the game with his photo on the cover, but which will be released a few months later, and sold exclusively in GameStop stores in the United States and Canada. This will be the DREAMER Edition.
