A whole week after unveiling a making of video of the highly anticipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, DotEmu is already back to give us other crisp details about his game. The first is the release date , or rather the release window, since we now know that the game will be back this summer, without further details. It gives us time to prepare and put money aside for a vintage collector's version which should necessarily be announced in stride. In the meantime, another good news has come to make our quadra hearts vibrate: the presence of the original voice cast. All the American dubbing actors of the time joined forces to bring all these iconic characters to life. Experts know it, Generation Z probably not, but Cam Clarke, Townsend Coleman, Barry Gordon and Rob Paulsen will once again become Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael. With people like Cyrille Imbert (CEO of DotEmu) spearheading this project, it's no wonder how important it is to have a close connection to the 80s/90s.
To end this series of good news on a high note, we also have an 11-minute video of pure gameplay to share with you. Quite simply because our colleagues from IGN were able to play the first two levels of the game. What to measure the impact of this gameplay which promises to be ultra varied, with tons of possibilities and above all a pixel-art visual rendering which pleases see.
