Nioh: sales continued to grow in 2022, an update on the figures
While Nioh 2 will soon point the tip of its nose on the PlayStation Plus in November, the Team Ninja studio has decided to take stock of the sales of the first Nioh. To date, 7 million copies have been sold since its launch in 2017 and sales continue to grow. It's simple, between the end of April and today, more than 2 million copies have been sold, which proves that the license has become a long-seller. In truth, the title must enjoy a nice word-of-mouth, especially since the democratization of Souls-like due to the insolent success of Elden Ring. If we will have to wait before the arrival of a Nioh 3, Team Ninja is finishing the development of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, to be released on March 3 and which is already part of the same continuity.
The #Nioh franchise has now surpassed 7 million units shipped worldwide!
We'd like to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported us over the years with the release of #Nioh in Feb. 2017 & #Nioh2 in Mar. 2020.
