Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: a new automated combat system set up, explanations
After the commercial (but not critical) success of Pokémon Legends Arceus at the start of the year, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are back and will offer us a new episode next November, which takes up the usual structure of Pokémon games, with two editions distinct. With Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, the developers of Game Freak promise this time a real open world, with also a combat system that has evolved. As we can see in the video, it is now possible to walk around the Paldea region with one of your Pokémon by your side. Because he is following us, it is then possible to send him in one direction thanks to the "Let's Go / Forward!" Convenient for picking up objects in the area, or even triggering auto battles with other Pokémon. If necessary, it is possible to stay next to the Pokémon that is fighting to watch it and suddenly, take the opportunity to go for a walk or look for nearby objects. As for your domestic Pokémon, when it knocks out wild Pokémon during auto battles, it can then earn items and experience points. This is likely to change the situation with this new approach, especially among purists who see it as a way to simplify the gameplay even more.

The release of Pokémon Purple and Pokémon Scarlet is expected for November 18 on Nintendo Switch.
