That's it ! After months of silence (a year in real life), Roller Champions has finally been released into the wild by Ubisoft. The French publisher indeed launched its competitive roller game on May 25 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS5 and Xbox One, knowing that the game is cross-play and cross-progression, which is a great initiative. The opportunity therefore for Ubisoft to release a new trailer, just to remind us that this is a team sports game and that its business model is modeled on that of free-to-play in PvP. We recall the principle: two teams of three players compete to be the first to score five points. Be careful though, there are some subtleties like the fact that to score more points, you have to do as many rounds of the arena as possible before scoring, on one condition: never lose the ball. It is obviously not mission impossible, but it will be necessary to call on the team spirit to get out of it against the opponents who will be tough. All shots are allowed, from sneaky dodging to dirty tackles, not to mention the acrobatic tricks that can be performed to have even more style.
This trailer is also an opportunity to talk about the inaugural season, which will last from May 25 to June 21 and allows you to have fun on three arenas and two specific limited-time game modes. Ubisoft lets us know that a Roller Pass has been set up, with the possibility of unlocking 41 rewards by participating in several matches, while players who don't have the money can however collect 11 items until June 21.
