The CAR SMG is a versatile short-range weapon that takes both heavy and light ammo. This gun was first seen in the Titanfall games, but with its debut in Apex Legends as well, it's gotten a slew of cool new paint jobs. Some of these skins are better than others, and aside from legendary skins, there isn't much that's special. But the legendary skins for the RCA are definitely something to write about.

Legendary CAR SMG skins all year round are some of the best skins we've seen for a weapon's debut. Our favorites are Pastel Perfection and Rich Mahogony, but all four are excellent. Everyone brings their own personality to the weapon, and come on, pastel is so cute.

The CAR SMG got an amazing legendary skin in Ash's launch pack, but beyond that, he didn't get much. There was no CAR skin on the Season 11 Battle Pass, or as a Treasure Pack reward. The other skins here are just standard epic skins and one rare standard skin.
