Our colleagues from EDGE (via MP1st) had the opportunity to speak with Glen Schofield who is both the boss of Striking Distance Studios, but also and above all the creator of The Callisto Protocol. Considered by many to be the spiritual heir to Dead Space (which we also owe to Glen Schofield), the game recently showed itself through a trailer which makes it clear that the hero Jacob Lee is going to experience hell on Callisto, one of Jupiter's moons, where the inmates of the Black Iron Correctional Facility began to transform into monstrous creatures.
According to the man who was also the head of Sledgehammer Games (Call of Duty), it will take between 12 and 14 hours to complete The Callisto Protocol. Naturally, this is only an estimate, as figures may vary from player to player. He added that the adventure was full of alternate paths to boost replay value. "They come much later in the game, but some of them are really cool, he pointed out. We won't tell you where they are and how many there are. In any case, if you take really have time to explore, the game might take longer to complete." In addition, Glen Schofield said he hopes that these variants will encourage players to share about the different paths they have taken, and explain what they will have discovered there.
We remind you that the release of the game is scheduled for December 2 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and PC.
