The Division Resurgence: the series arrives on mobiles, 1st trailer and all the info on this free-to-play

Ubisoft therefore continues to bring its licenses to mobiles with, this time, The Division Resurgence. And obviously, it will not be a discount adaptation since in its press release, the French publisher indicates that this free-to-play will be a real third-person shooter game with components specific to the RPG and taking place in an open world, like what the series has offered us so far. On the scenario side, we are told that The Division Resurgence will obviously take place in a contemporary New York ravaged by the pandemic, and that it will shed light on certain key events in The Division and The Division 2.





As agents of the first wave of The Division, players will have to protect civilians against enemy factions ready to rob them. Obviously, the game will introduce new characters as well as antagonists qualified as formidable. Determined to build on the work done for the first two canonical games, the developers planned to include "all of the franchise's original game modes while introducing new gear and weapons to try out." On this subject, we can not only improve the arsenal of heroes, but also gain levels and thus unlock access to other skills and additional weapons.







It's also highlighted that The Division Resurgence "will be playable solo or in co-op with a variety of PvE activities, ranging from missions related to the game's main story to open-world activities." Finally, we are promised that the controls and the user interface have been designed for mobile devices, to appeal to both first-time fans and neophytes.
