The Quarry: a new video that lays the foundations of the game, bad news for multiplayer
Expected for June 10, The Quarry offers a new video which is responsible for laying the foundations of the game even if the formula of Supermassive Games (Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures, The Inpatient) is now known to all. The director Will Byles recalls that it will be a question of following the peregrinations of nine animators of a holiday center having decided to offer themselves a little good time for their last night. As always, the player will have to make decisions, some of which may have disastrous consequences for the characters.

The relationships between the different protagonists will also be impacted by the choices made, not to mention the endings which are 186 in number. In short, we are promised a titanium replay value. On the visual level, Will Byles ensures that the facial animations have been the subject of particular care and that Supermassive Games wanted to give The Quarry a cinematographic dimension by playing in particular on the lighting. And then there is also the cast (including David Arquette) who went through the performance capture box.

In addition, the game will have a multiplayer mode that will allow several participants to embody different characters and take turns taking the controller. There will also be a way to enjoy several online, up to seven players can be invited by the host and progress together in the adventure. And since we are talking about online multiplayer, Supermassive has decided to postpone its release to July 8 so that the gaming experience is the best possible.

The Quarry est prévu sur Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5 et PC.
