The news on the superhero side is ultra busy, it's not a scoop for anyone, especially on the Disney side which has to juggle between the releases of Miss Marvel, Thor Love & Thunder, but also Obi-Wan Kenobi and Buzz the Flash. If they are all highly anticipated, the fourth episode of the adventures of Thor Odinson is perhaps the one on which there is the most pressure. Also because it is one of the major titles of Phase 4 of the MCU, it is the return of Taika Waititi to directing (but also in front of the screen in the role of Korg) and this episode will mark the come- back of Nathalie Portman as Mighty Thor. If two trailers have already given the trend of this film which will be in line with Thor Ragnarok, a new 30-second TV spot allows you to see new images, rather cool, like that of Valkyrie (played by Tessa Thompson ) which appears more bad-ass than ever. Already, we see her fighting against Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) in a clash of blades (she has the lightning bolt of Zeus in her hands) and colors too. Gorr indeed seems to suck in any form of color when approached. And then there's this pose where Valkyrie licks her blade in the middle of a fight, just to show us what a strong character she is.
In any case, if the trailers voluntarily show us this very relaxed and humorous side of the film, there is a good chance that they hide more dramatic issues from us, especially around the story of Jane Foster. A priori, she should be suffering from cancer, as in the comic-book. It remains to be seen whether she will remain standing at the end of the film...
