While we are still waiting for a release date for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, at least something other than the vague "Summer 2022", DotEmu has partnered with Just for Games for the creation of the physical boxed versions, the kind of products that every collector dreams of displaying in their gaming room. It was through a tweet that the contents of the Standard and Signature editions were revealed, which obviously include goodies that players in their thirties and older are already drooling over. For the Standard version, what immediately jumps to the eyes is the presence of a booklet manual, something which however disappeared many years ago, but which collectors of the era of 16-bit consoles regret bitterly . There's also a rather welcome pizza-shaped keychain as well.
The Signature version, which will undoubtedly be sold at a higher price, offers the same content as the Standard edition, to which is added 4 pins with the effigy of the 4 turtles, a 2nd key ring with the head of Shredder, a cardboard signed by the creators of the game, the soundtrack of the game on a disc in the shape of a pizza and a metal coaster which represents a manhole cover. The set will obviously be packaged in a collector's box. Prices are not indicated but Just For Games announces the opening of pre-orders very soon. We stay on the lookout.
