Available since spring 2017 on PS4 and PC, before landing on Xbox One the following summer and on Nintendo Switch two years later, What Remains of Edith Finch was deployed yesterday on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5 as the announced the Giant Sparrow studio during the Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2022. For the record, a few weeks ago, some rumors already suggested that a next-gen version of the game was in the pipeline, including a 4K display 60fps, so that was confirmed yesterday. The good news is that those who already own What Remains of Edith Finch on Xbox One and PS4 will be able to get the update at no additional cost.
Just in case, we remind you that the game allows you to embody Edith Finch and discover the past of her family of which she is the last representative. Each chapter is an opportunity to slip into the shoes of a different member, and to become familiar with its own gameplay mechanics.
