WRC Generations: the last Franco-French episode before it goes to EA

During BigBen Week, which was held yesterday afternoon around 15 p.m., the French publisher Nacon revealed the existence of WRC Generations, the new episode of a license that made the heyday of the publisher, and of which it is the last opus flying the French flag. Indeed, we remind you that Electronic Arts has managed to recover the licensing rights of the WRC and that the next games will be developed by Codemasters. Announced for October 13, this WRC Generations will stand out above all for its transition to hybrid engines; as is already the case in real motorsport. It is also a real challenge for the KT Games teams who will have to rework the driving sensations, the physics but also the sound since the engines are totally different. But fans of old-style vehicles can be reassured, WRC Generations will be offering its share of old vehicles, including 37 legendary ones, recreated with their own mechanical characteristics.

In terms of content, WRC Generations will include no less than 13 countries in the championship, 9 additional environments for a total of 22 countries, and 165 different specials, not to mention that the new Swedish layout will also be included. Nacon and KT Games also announce in their press release that single player and multiplayer have benefited from new additions and whose new features have been listed.

    • Career mode allows you to write your story, make your team prosper and manage it down to the smallest detail. A new hybrid management will be available in the skill tree.

    • In Leagues mode, players of the same level can challenge each other in weekly and daily events to hopefully climb to the top of the leaderboard.

    • With the Teams system, players have the choice of joining a team or creating their own, and thus carry their banner high in all events.

    • The Livery Editor lets you customize the cars with numerous paints and decals. In WRC Generations, players can now share their creations with each other!

    • It is possible to practice in races without classification in split screen or online, and live the real experience in pairs in the Copilot mode.

The release of WRC Generations is set for October 13, 2022 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and even Nintendo Switch.
