Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – Sheikah Sensor

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – Sheikah Sensor

Materials are an essential part of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, as they are used to purchase upgrades for your playable characters, as well as a plethora of other things. As you play Age of Calamity, you will realize that you need a lot of these materials as you progress. However, there is one thing that will help you!

Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity Sheikah Sensor

To unlock the Sheikah Sensor in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, you need to reach Chapter 2; you will receive a quest called Needed: Seekers in the Akkala region. Turn in the required materials and you'll unlock the Sheikah sensor.

For the Needed: Researchers quest, you need to turn in 200 Bokoblin Trophies, 50 Lizalfos Trophies, and 1000 Rupees. You should have the required number of these just by playing through the title until you reach this quest. Otherwise, go out and kill those monsters to get the coins. Return said materials and you will have unlocked the Sheikah Sensor.

If you come across a quest that requires an item that you don't have or have limited quantities of, you cannot complete the quest. This is where the Sheikah Sensor comes in. Highlight the quest that is missing materials. You will know if you are missing any materials because the number of items needed will be red instead of white.

You will have the option to save the quest by pressing the X button; although you can only save two quests at a time, you can track up to six materials in those two quests. If you want to remove the Sheikah sensor, press X again in the quest, and the quest will be removed.

Once a quest has been tracked from the map, you will notice a green sensor icon on some missions. These missions are the ones you need to complete to get one of the missing materials. Once you have obtained the required number of missing materials, a notification will appear letting you know.

You can also track items manually, if you want a specific number to be kept in your stores, for example kitchen or other, and again you can track six materials. To do this, press the R button on the map screen and scroll down the page until you get to the Materials menu.

In this menu you can sort the materials you have unlocked. Once you find the material you want to track, just press the X button and enjoy tracking a quest. A green sensor will appear on quests that have these materials.

The gameplay of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is very different from BotW; however, some elements remain, such as the parry. You can eat to heal to regain health, but that's changed because you can't cook meals mid-game and then pause to eat everything in sight! Oh, don't worry, you can still protect the surf!
