If you're having a hard time venturing outdoors right now, then it might be worth heading over to Fortnite for some fun with some friends! What better way to spend time with each other than playing a rousing game of hide and seek. There are plenty of great maps that allow for this kind of fun, so we're taking a look at the best hide and seek codes Fortnite has to offer!
Keep in mind that these are not prop hunt cards. These aren't traditional hide and seek, they're similar but different enough to warrant their own section (which you can find here). Instead of disguising yourself as various objects scattered around the map, you will literally have to find places to hide. You can get behind objects, enter bushes, or find hidden areas on the map to stick to! During this time, at least one player will be looking for you! If they are able to find you, they can shoot you and kick you out of the game. To win the game you either have to be the last hider alive, or as a seeker you will have to find all the players on the map!
How to use creative code
Once you load the game you will have three options on what you want to play (Save the World, Battle Royale and Creative). Click on the creative option, then on PLAY then on CREATE (don't start a server if you want to play solo).
Once loaded, you will see an Orange Rift that will take you to islands where you can create custom maps. We don't want that right now, so look for featured portals. Fortnite now puts you in a custom portal area, so you might have to search for it a bit. Find the portals with the console in front of them and interact with one of them.
From here you can either select one of the codes you've bookmarked or paste a code you have at the end of the URL. Click "Accept" and it will load the island of your choice. You can then run into the rift and it will transport you there!
Fortnite Cache Map List and Search
Here is our list of the best hide and seek map codes in Fortnite:
I'll go into more detail below on each of these cards and include some videos that should explain more about the course if needed!
Cache-cache Mansion
Really interesting map with lots of areas to hide due to the expansive nature of the mansion. The outdoor areas are great and include a slide, as well as a cave area that can be hidden away. There are also a ton of areas inside the house, it's a huge place so there are multiple stories with lots of little places to sneak into. At the top of the roof there is even a cinema room with an area to hide behind the screen! It's a really fun map, so it's worth a try if you're looking for a new place to play.
modern mansion
Hide and seek cards lend themselves very well to mansions. So, this is another mansion map, but this time we have a modern take. If you want to make sure you're hiding in a proper modern area, then this is a great map to play! There's quite a bit of corn on this level, so there are good places to hide. You will also find many hidden areas to dive into. Be sure to check behind every piece of furniture and objects, as this map does a great job of having a ton of places to sneak behind.
Fortnite Creative Map Coverage
Pois Shooter Hide & Seek
If you've had enough of mansions already, we have something very different. This area depicts quite an interesting forest atmosphere that is basically a small town. There's a shooting range, movie set, eclipse tower, hills, factory, slurp bar, log house, library, and killer shack! There's even a bat cave you can enter if you take a portal there. There's a lot to love about this map, with a ton of different areas to explore and hide!
The mall closes hide and seek
It's a very good concept for a map. You're heading to a mall that's about to close, but you'd like to stay after hours and walk around the place. Well, you will have to hide and avoid the security guard (applicant), to enjoy the empty mall! You have a lot of great areas in this one! There's a Pizza Pit, an arcade, a DJ lounge, and some other great stuff to explore.
Village viking
There's a lot to love about this Viking Village hide-and-seek map! It's extremely detailed, with just stuff everywhere that makes you feel like you're really in a Viking village. If you remember the map from Chapter 1, you will no doubt remember the Viking area that was at the top of the snowy mountain. It's a different approach, because instead of it being winter, you're clearly in summer and things are crisp and clear. The map has nice elevations and lots of different areas to creep and hide!
