Why would you do that? Well, it's pretty good practice if you're just looking to get a bit of real-world experience, and it's a pretty good way to gain experience and even complete your challenges for a season.
What are bots?
Bots are AI-controlled players that will sometimes be added to your game. They play at a fairly low skill level, so they give new players a chance to practice without getting hurt initially. Fortnite is quite a complex game, which means if you've never played it, you're probably going to be dominated in the early stages of your development. Bots seek to make things a bit fairer from the start.
Why were robots added?
The first reason is to give new players a chance to get an elimination and practice in a more real scenario. The second reason is that they basically added them as a filler for matches. Epic introduced skill-based matchmaking that brings together players of similar skill levels. This can lead to gaps for some players when queuing, so bots will help fill this gap if needed.

To play against bots, you will need to create a new account and invite it to a team match! I will go over the details of what is needed for this to happen in the information below.
Step 1: create a new account
To do this, you will need to create a new account. Don't worry, it's not serious and you won't play on it. You just need it to place your main account in a lobby full of bots. Simply click on this link to create the account.
Step 2: Log into the new account on another device
You will now need to log into this account through another device that you are not playing with your main account. This is usually your mobile device and you play either on PC or console. If your primary device is mobile, you might not be able to do much if you don't have an alternative platform to put Fortnite on.
Step 3: Invite your main account to a party
Now that you're in your second account, all you need to do is invite your main account to a party. You can do this through the social tab, send them a friend request, accept it on your main account, and then join them in a party.
Step 4: Start a No Fill Squad game on your second account
Make sure the secondary account is the host, then queue it up for a Squad game.
Step 5: Make your secondary account quit the game
Once you have entered the game, be sure to exit the game with your other account. You don't want them gaining ANY experience because then you won't get a lob anymore just if you do! You should now be in a game with all bots and no human players!
