Among the games that managed to get noticed during gamescom 2022, and more precisely during the Opening Night Live, there was Friends vs Friends, the new game from studio Brainwash Gang, the creators of The Longest Road On Earth . With its deliberately vintage artistic direction and its atypical concept that mixes a shooter and a card game, Friends vs Friends caught the eye of the publisher Fury Raw, who immediately took it under his wing. The trailer also allows us a first glimpse of the game, which asks us to choose his character from a selection of animal avatars (10 at launch). Then, you have to create a deck of weapons and abilities that you will mix later and get started in maps where you play games in 1v1 or 2v2. The trailer announces a nervous, fun and hassle-free FPS, with this 100% multiplayer orientation where each card drawn or used grants unique skills. The game is shown during this gamescom 2022, but also during the PAX West next weekend! No release date has been given for the moment, we just know that it will be released on PC and consoles.
