Epic has finally released Fortnite, the world's biggest battle royale shooter, on Google Play, ending a Mexican stalemate that has been going on since 2018. Prior to that, Fortnite Android's situation was a bit messy, to say the least. The world's biggest battle royale shooter actually came to mobile in 2018, with the iOS version landing in April and Android a few months later in August.

While this isn't a huge issue for many Android users, who are familiar with downloading APKs (APKs are basically the basic app you can manually download and install on Android devices), many other casual gamers have found themselves confused as to exactly how to get Fortnite on Android.
This is what required this guide, as it was really unclear for many mobile gamers how to get Fortnite on their Android devices. However, there are plenty of other ways to play Fortnite on Android compared to iOS, so read on to learn more.
