Resident Evil: Netflix is already canceling its TV series, there will be no Season 2
Released on Netflix on July 14, the Resident Evil series did not ultimately find its audience, despite its start at 73,3 million hours watched and a Season 4 of Stranger Things launched a few days earlier. It must be said that the series quickly plummeted in terms of audience with disappointing performances, which earned it to be ejected from the Top 10 in the space of 3 weeks. To this must be added the murderous reviews and its 55% average on the Rotten Tomatoes site, which undoubtedly convinced Netflix not to produce Season 2 despite the creators' announcements. The latter have also published a video on their Instagram account, captioning the message with the following caption: “Undesirable side effects”. For his part, actor Lance Reddick, who plays the character of Albert Wesker, split a video message on his Twitter account to thank fans for their support. We could see the actor lending his drafts and his performance captured in Quantum Break and more recently Horizon 2 Forbidden West. He is also alongside Keanu Reeves in the John Wick saga. As for Ella Balinska, who plays Jade Wesker in the Resident Evil series, we will find her in the role of Frey Holland in the game Forspoken from Square Enix. Not sure that the game finds its audience either, given the bad feedback...

A special thank you to all the fans who watched #ResidentEvilNetflix, the showrunners, my castmates, executives and more. We worked our asses off and had a great time. pic.twitter.com/A98aQVuA7t
