Last month, Netflix announced that its new Resident Evil live-action series would air starting July 14. Yesterday, the SVOD platform unveiled a new trailer which, this time, allows us to see some of the game's emblematic creatures. There are zombies of course, but also dogs, giant spiders, the Lickers, or even the Tyrant that we see at the end of the trailer. A way for the producers to show that the series will be faithful to the work of Capcom.
For the record, the story will revolve around Albert Welker's two daughters, namely Jade and Billie. Hence the two different eras: one dedicated to the city of New Raccoon City (in 2022) and its inhabitants who live peacefully, and the other to the city of London (in 2036) ravaged by the virus and populated of zombies. Composed of eight episodes, the show is directed by Andrew Dabb (Supernatural).
