Fortnite now offers the ability to customize matches to force you to match with specific players. This makes it easy to participate in custom tournaments or organize and participate in matches for large parties.
How to Make a Custom Match in Fortnite
Unfortunately, Epic does not provide instructions on how to make custom matches readily available. However, we have figured out how to create them and provided instructions below.
When you first enter the game, you will have the option to change the game mode on the right side of the screen. The first thing to do is to select Edit, which is shown in the image above on the left. Next, you need to select the custom options, shown in the image above on the right. It is located at the bottom right of the game window.

When you click on Custom Options, you will see a window similar to the image above. All you have to do is enter a key that only your selection of players will know. It is strongly recommended that you do not use personal passwords or easy-to-guess phrases, as other people will need this key to log in to your personalized match.
When you have finished entering the key, click the Accept button on this window to close it. Then click on Accept in the game mode selection screen, then on Play in the title screen. At this point it will show that you have started setting up the match and how many players are in the queue.
Congratulations, you have now started a personalized correspondence. Try creating tournaments with friends! Or maybe even a Team Rumble match between families?
