The Aphelios / Akshan composition with Night Herald and Ranger
Aphelios offers a very good physical DPS, and above all a huge burst of damage when he casts his spell, with, Akshan acting as a secondary carry. This composition works best if you can pass level 8 before rolling to maximize your chances of finding your champions at 4 and 5 gold.
The rest of the composition is very flexible depending on your needs in the lobby and the emblems you may have found: you can play revenants for controls, 4 Heralds of the Night (Nightbringer), 2 or 3 Battleships (Ironclad), Mystics, 4 Knights...

Aphelios (carry principal)
Aphelios is your main carry and its items should be your priority. Usually he wants two physical damage items as well as'one last defensive object (especially with life theft).

Akshan may be relevant to equip in the late game with your leftover items. He particularly enjoys having a mix with one or two healing/defense items et damage items. You have to make the best of the components you have left.

Other Interesting Items
Banshee Griffe : This object can be very interesting to protect your Rangers against champions like Heimerdinger or Teemo.
Utility objects : In the late game, you should try to take utility items: Shroud of appeasement, Zephyr, Zeke's Crest...
The best radiant items
Always try to choose radiant items according to what you need : if you don't have all the items in your main carry yet, take a light item from it. Conversely, if he already has three items, favor utility or items for a secondary carry.

What to choose as an emblem (spatula object)?
Ranger : You can play 6 Rangers, or just get rid of your Varus and play only 4.
Nightbringer : With a Nightbringer Emblem, you can more easily play 4 or 6. She can go to Rell, Galio ou Akshan for example.
You can use any defensive emblem like Battleship (Ironclad), Rider, Mystique ou Chevalier (Knight) to increase your frontline.

As usual, the Force of nature is always a great option.
Positioning Tips
Pay attention to the positioning of your Aphelios, who wants to avoid being on the same side as Assassins, and also avoid being the opposite of a Vel'Koz for example. Ditto, if opponents play Thresh, put another unit in the corner so he doesn't get caught.
Try to have rell the opposite ofAphelios so that his shield and stun hit as many targets as possible. Also try to have volibear in front of as many enemies as possible so that his spell stuns the opponents.
You should try to position your Akshan Next to'Aphelios so that they target the same opponent, so that they both benefit from Akshan's armor reduction. If possible, put the latter on the side of the opposing carries so that he can attack them with his grappling hook.
