With TFT's Set 5, Riot has decided to incorporate "Lab" mode (or Lab): alternative game modes to Teamfight Tactics, which offer different rules. The first Lab to be released will be « Hyper roll » (or "Fast Rolling"), which is an accelerated version of the standard game.
Here are the differences between Hyper Roll and TFT, as well as different particularities of this new game mode.

Fast rolling mode, what differences with TFT?
Hyper Roll mode remains globally similar to Teamfight Tactics : you build your team the same way, the champions and traits are the same, the items too. The game, however, was simplified and thought to be much faster. A game should last between 18 and 19 minutes.
Here is the list of differences between TFT and Hyper Roll:
- There is no button to buy XP : instead everyone levels up naturally much faster.
- You start the game with much less VP : You will have 20 HP instead of the usual 100.
- You lose less HP per defeat : Instead of losing VPs based on the number of units remaining, you lose a fixed number (displayed at the top next to the round number) of VPs each time you lose a round. This number increases as the game progresses.
- There's no interest on your gold : you don't get extra gold if you have 10 or 50 gold in stock, so you can roll all rounds if you want.
- There are far fewer rounds per stage : you face only 2 opponents in each stage.
