Champions and synergies with the Precious Gauntlet
The Precious Gauntlet seems to be one of the weakest items to build from Training gloves. If the ability to critically hit important ultimates, such as Karthus orAurelion Sol may seem attractive, this object generally remains less effective than a Rabadon's Headdress for example and is too random to really find its interest. It also risks "overkilling" targets, ie inflicting more damage than they have HP.
If it were to find a use, this object would be preferred on champions who can use their ultimates several times during a round, in order to reduce the luck factor. Good candidates would then be Ahri, Lucian or even Twisted fate. Yasuo could also be an interesting choice. Note that ultimates that hit multiple times can crit with each instance of damage, making the item effective on champions like Kennan, Thread or even Miss Fortune.
In order to make the Precious Gauntlet work, it would be ideal to equip it alongside other items that increase critical hits, such as the Infinity blade for example to maximize your chances of hitting the jackpot.
